AI is having a significant impact on the global job market. Around 40% of jobs are likely to be affected by the transformations brought about by this technology. However, perceptions of these changes vary depending on the sector. For example, in the information systems sector, 50% of professionals believe that AI will bring about considerable changes. Despite fears of job losses, 95% of professionals strongly believe that AI has the potential to improve employee productivity.

Europe’s AI situation is both promising and full of challenges. Although 74% of companies have not yet developed their own language model, the majority are studying the issue. Currently, 14% of the world’s 28 most widely used language models are European, indicating a compelling need to accelerate innovation to remain competitive.

In order to promote innovation in the field of AI, several European countries have implemented initiatives with significant investments. For example, Germany is investing €3 billion, France €1.5 billion, the United Kingdom €1.16 billion, and Italy €1 billion in this area.
